Hi Peeps! I've been searching for good getaway packages to Malaysia during the March Holidays. So far, I've looked the free and easy packages from Five Stars and Luxury Tours. Since it will be our first time going out as a class, I've decided that going somewhere more familiar (KL and Genting) would be easier for you peeps.

I've selected the week AFTER the Primary/Secondary school March holidays (23-29 March) to take advantage of the low season prices. Here's the itinerary:

1H01 2008/09 March Holiday Getaway
3D2N Genting & Kuala Lumpur (+1N Extension in KL)

DAY 1: Mon 23/3 Singapore to Genting Highlands

(All meals not provided)

Assemble at the bus stop next to Tampines MRT Station at 06.30am to take a coach direct to Genting Highlands. Upon arrival and check in at Genting Highlands Resort Hotel, proceed for a day of fun at the Genting Highlands Theme Park. Free at leisure afterwards.

DAY 2: Tue 24/3 Genting Highlands to Kuala Lumpur
(No meals provided)

After breakfast, assemble at the Five Stars Tours Counter at the First World Bus Terminal at 11.30am to catch the coach to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, check in at Crown Princess Hotel. The hotel is located near to KL Central and has access to the monorail line. Activities recommendation include shopping at Suria KLCC, and the many ethnic neighborhoods in Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy a sumptious dinner of KL hawker food thereafter.

DAY 3: Wed 25/3 Kuala Lumpur (Extension Night)
(Breakfast at Hotel* to be confirmed)

Free at leisure after breakfast. This day is free for you to do more shopping or take the time out to explore more of KL.

DAY 4: Thur 26/3 Kuala Lumpur to Singapore
(Breakfast at Hotel* to be confirmed)

Before we leave for Singapore, you might want to do some last minute shopping. Assemble at the hotel lobby at 02.30pm for your coach ride back to Singapore. Arrive in Singapore by evening time.

Disclaimer: This itinerary is personally done by me (Ben) and not Five Stars Tours. They are only providing the coach tickets and hotel rooms.

ESTIMATED COSTS

Since this is quite a complicated one, I shall break it down to make sure its easier for you peeps to see. The total cost calculated is for ONE PERSON

Tour Price

Triple sharing: ($158X2 + $138 [3rd person]) / 3 = $151.33

(1N Extension/triple sharing): $135/3 = $45

Hotel Upgrade (*to be confirmed) $20/3 = $6.66 (the other hotels' location are quite inconvenient, adding an extra of $6+ is worth it to save outstanding transport costs)

TOTAL COST: $151.33 + $45 + $6.66 = $202.99 (~$203) - 4D3N
Prices denoted are in SINGAPORE DOLLARS not RM
To cover other expenses such as food, transport and shopping, please bring a total of $300-$400 depending on your individual preferences.

1H01 '08/09 ™

They say, the first class in school is always the best one; 1H01 totally proved that point right.

Each day spent with 1H01 probably equates to an episode of some TV drama, filled with arguments and bitching, pouting and shouting; But what makes us different, is that in a matter of hours or days, things will be different once again. That's 1H01 '08/09 for you. Anger dissipates faster than the fats off Britney Spears. Happiness and laughter always prevail.

So, that's what I like about our class :
Fcuked up shits don't last.
