Alright people, it's my turn to update this page. I hope this wouldn't be a lousy post because I have no idea what I should write about. (I lost the inspiration to even update my own blog as frequently as I used to! Lol!)
We had decided to throw a Christmas party this December! *Claps claps* (I know you guys will look forward to it) Kelwin has offered to ask his Dad to book the RC Karaoke room or something for us and Ben will check out if he can book his condo's function room! :D Till then, we shall plan a line of exciting activities! And do take note, it's a Class gathering so we are expecting that ALL of the H01s will attend! (Come on, let's make it a successful one!) We can invite our SLs to join us too! :D
Anyway, here's a gentle reminder: We got complete our first drafts for OB and BCS excel project by this coming Tuesday. So yeah, people do note of it!

Hello class. Today, I'm going to make a short little proposal. Okay, not a proposal, but an announcement. We need some money in the class fund.
And it's too troublesome and untimely to collect money for it after every little thing that we spend on for the class. E.g. Birthday Celebrations.
So this is what I'm asking for. Every single one of us, starting from this coming Monday. Please donate $1 every week to the class fund.
Yes, it's only $1. And the collection will be on every Monday. The start of the week, when we haven't spent on anything yet. That's $23 a week, $46 in two weeks and etc.
No longer would we have to go through tedious calculations after every class thing that we do okay? We just have to take it out of the class fund. Splendid isn't it?
I'll be nice. For the first few weeks, I will initiate the collection. However, I do hope it will be a mere action of reflex as the weeks go by.

Hello all, today is the Gabriel's turn to blog. Heck, I haven't even been updating my own blog. Anyway, this is going to be a wordy post so bear with me. I haven't gotten the photos yet.
As of today, it's already November 7th. 1 day after our dear Kelwin's 18 birthday. I guess, for the most of us, it has already been a year since our "O" levels right? Time flies. How much has changed since then? A lot has, for me.
Think. Just a year back, we didn't even know of each other's existence. We were total strangers. In some time in our lives, we may even have walked pass each other as strangers. You never know, do you?
And now, look at the bond we share. As a class. The celebrations, the smiles and the laughters. Personally, the people in our class is the only thing that makes me crawl off my bed in the morning to head down to TP. This will last, it will.
A year from now, we'll all already be Year 2s. Already in our second semester, going to Sentosa instead of Tampines. The previous year flashed by that quickly, so why won't this? We will most likely be separated next year. Different class, different people, different everything.
Let's treasure each other while we have one another. It's already November. Before you know, it'll be March. We have 5 more months together, as a class. Be it, 5 weeks, 5 days or 5 hours. Let's spend the remaining time together as we always did.
Together. United. Bonded.

We had a mini celebration at Engine Canteen today. (: Hopefully it was a pleasant surprise for you, Kelwin! The real stuff will be tomorrow at Marina Square's Seoul Garden. :P Haha and I think our Birthday Committee really put in great effort to come up with creative ideas for the burfdae cards and gifts! So let's really appreciate the people who have sacrifice their time to get the gifts and thinking of creative ways to produce lovely burfdae cards for the burfdae peeps (: You guys are doing a wonderful job and thanks for making everyone in 1H01 feel so loved! :D

Well, not gonna blurt any Japanese (unless our LiangPeh wants me to...>:D) or GP stuff...or whatever.
I think that this year has gone by in a flash, and most of us are crazily doing PBL and sleeping while trying hard to study. Well then, just take a breather and READ DIS POST!
With us barely knowing each other on Day 1, we have become quite tight-knit and united as a class. Honestly speaking, I have never been in a single, united class like ours. During Secondary school, people didn't care about your birthday, nor even bothered to plan an outing for everyone (or most of us). Everything was done by the "cliques" and I was pretty left out for much of it, cause I did not care to bother. Studies aside, I was virtually "nothing". Empty shell, no nothing
I guess, being in a new environment can really change someone. Having friends beside you, understanding what's going on with you, and motivating you can really lift your trampled soul. So yeah, no matter what differences all of us have, just try to take a moment to think, and you will realize that everyone in class has a role a play to make things work, no matter how big or small it is.
Be participative like our Gabriel here! Oi! Play blind mice la, not act like some Red Indian -.-. But...I got caught by him so easily (sad)
I just hope that you guys appreciate everyone around you, no matter how much they "suck" in your opinion. I'm sure everyone in class has the power to motivate, inspire and for those who don't really participate, don't be shy, everyone has a chance and will be welcomed.
Okay la, if you're half asleep, hope this wakes you up ^^

Okay, what's next...? I just want to say that I just realised how difficult is it to get into a a "public" university here! Seriously people, unless you graduate with a Diploma with Merit, you can forget about it!
Depressing, ain't it? Perhaps you'll gain some motivation out of this. Hopefully long term one, we don't need short runs :P
You guys MUST go NTU/NUS/SMU! It's not easy but it's not impossible! Don't go to some Australian university with a Singapore campus. Even SIM is better but I am well aware that even a double degree from there would not be able to match up with a single degree from NUS. Sucks eh? But too bad, this is life! Prove all those poly stereotypes wrong! Prove LKY wrong!
